A LITTLE HISTORY...
Spinal Decompression Therapy has been around since the 1980s. It is a more advanced and sophisticated alternative to traction therapy. In addition to chiropractors, pain management doctors and orthopedic surgeons are using decompression therapy in their clinics today. It is at the forefront of non-invasive, non-surgical disc therapy and is often used in combination with other treatment modalities such as chiropractic adjustments, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and steroid injections, to help target the function of the stabilization muscles. This multi-faceted approach makes for highly-effective treatment.

Swan Lake Chiropractic Health Center offers spinal decompression therapy at our convenient downtown Boulder location. Our doctors are Certified Decompression Therapy Practitioners and we have two state of the art decompression therapy tables in a private treatment room. This clinic has been treating patients with decompression therapy in combination with chiropractic adjustments for ten years and we have seen over 500 decompression therapy patients. These patients have a variety of symptoms/conditions including: disc degeneration, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, chronic back or neck pain, cervical related arm pain,and low back/lumbo-sacral related leg pain.

When you call our office, one of our receptionists will set up a consultation appointment for you. One of the doctors will meet with you and review your health history to determine whether or not you are a good candidate for this type of treatment. Since each patient and treatment plan are unique, costs may vary. You always have choices as to the extent of care you receive and we promise to do what is necessary for optimizing your health.
